Hi buns,

As the year is approaching to an end, it is time for me to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As 2009 approaches to an end and welcome 2010.

Hmm. What a year it has been for all of us. A lot of things can happen in a day let alone in a year.

So just some updates for all.

Just yesterday, on Christmas Eve, my family and I went to Malaysia for a short shopping trip. Just went there for a massage, eat some food, buy some things then come back home. Wah. The food at the Chinese restaurant is very good. And quite cheap too. Worth to spend money in Malaysia. Hee Hee. Cheap and good food, cheaper petrol there also, cheap shows, etc.

As for today, i just followed my parents to office then bought some food for dinner. Wah. Time to complain. The food from the Chomp Chomp Food Market i think at Serangoon Garden area is really very horrible. Gosh.

Take for example the Hokkien Mee, it is very wet and tasetless. I could hardly eat out any taste. The satay is just normal, nothing special and i heard the Chicken rice my brother was eating is not nice as well. Oh well. I did suggest to my parents to buy from the Sembawang Coffeeshop opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre the Hokkien Mee but they did not listen. Wah. Should have stayed on with my decision.

As for tomorrow, i am meeting Cookie Ice Cream and Strawberry Pao to go to City Square Mall in the afternoon. Then Cookie Ice Cream will be going to City Hall area to meet its friend.

Hmm. Actually i thought of using the car to travel to City Square Mall but then the thought of my family using it tomorrow is still unknown. Nah. Just take 857 there would be fine. The route of 857 and travelling there by car is very similar. In fact from Yio Chu Kang when the bus turns into CTE, it is exactly the same to the City Square Mall area.

I just confirmed with Cookie Ice Cream. We will be meeting at 12.30 Pm for Lunch. I strongly recommend the Char Siew Rice or Scissors Cut Curry Rice is very nice. It is very famous too. Do not fret. I know how to go there.

Hee Hee. Cookie Ice Cream was telling me how to get to Farrer Park Mrt. It told me that we can take a train from Khatib to Bishan station, then transfer to the Circle Line at Bishan Line then to somewhere then transfer to Farrer Park.. I forget where already. Or another way is take train to Dhobt Gauht then transfer to Farrer Park.

Notice something? Either way, by train there is a need to transfer. So troublesome. So why not just take 857 directly to Farrer Park area right?

Okay. Time to boast my public transport knowledge.

Khatib station (NS 14) is on the North-South Line (Red colour by SMRT) while Farrer Park is on the North-East line (Purple colour by SBS, No driver inside). So there will be a need to transfer no matter. As for Bishan Station (NS 17) which is both North-South Line and Circle Line (Red Line and Yellow Line BY SMRT). It takes 10 Minutes from Khatib to Bishan travelling time only. and around 24 Minutes from Khatib to Dhobt Gauht.

Note: If any bun needs information on public transport, do feel free to ask me. I know the entire North-South Line as well as a couple of bus services and what buses to get to this location, etc.

And then from Farrer Park to City Hall is even easier. Just take 857 down and alight at either Suntec City or at Esplanade Bus Stop. My road sense is quite good. I learnt it since since young. Thus, when i am driving around, i know how to travel around.

Hmm. Wondering what should i do when Cookie Ice Cream goes to meet its friend at City Hall. I intend to go City Hall area also. Or rather Marina Square Starbucks. Hee Hee. Still have 3 drinks on the Starbucks Passport that i need to use by next Saturday latest. Hmm. Still have 4 drinks that can be used for all Cafe Gailee (The cafe in all community libraries) in Singapore.

Hmm. Maybe Strawberry Pao may be coming along. Then again. Maybe not. I intend to slack all the way till around 10 Pm tomorrow. I will check with Cookie Ice Cream if it is going back with its friend or alone. If it goes home alone, then maybe i go with it. Hmm. Want to slack at Coffee Bean but then need to top up the card or redeem the points. I want to keep it for future use. So might as well go to Starbucks and save some money on the drink. Maximum savings of $1.50 for a Venti Size drink that costs $8.

I also need to save money. Hee Hee. Waiting to receive NS allowance so that i can spend it.
