Trip to Malaysia ( 1 Day Self Drive In Tour)

Hi buns,

As you all know today, I travelled into Malaysia with my family members (excluding my brother). My father drove in. It is going to be a very detailed description. Be warned.

Here goes:

In the morning at around 8 Am we all went downstairs to wait for my father friend. They later reached around 8.25 Am. So we being in 2 cars drive up to Malaysia.

As today is a normal day and customs clearance being fast, we reached Kulai around 9 .45 Am. We went there to buy incense paper, candles, etc. basically it is religious stuff for Taoist. We bought a lot of things. The boot was almost full as we bought almost Rm 1000 worth of products.

Then on the way to JB, we passed by a restaurant called "The Fortune Restaurant". The food is nice and cheap. For 7 person, we only paid Rm 209 for 6 dishes and drinks and also taxes.

It is really worth to eat at Malaysia. S$1 = Rm 2.43

Then after eating we went on to a shopping centre called "Wu Fu Men" or 5 doors i think. Wah. Free parking so save parking charges.

Upon reaching, we went to buy some mineral salt. Then i went to the supermarket there which is Carrefour. The things there are really cheaper than in Singapore. So my sister and i went to buy some stuff. I also bought some instant noodles from there as it is hard to find in Singapore. It is Mamee Vegetarian Flavour instant noodles. It can only be found in Cold Storage and in limited quanities in Singapore. Over there in Mayalsia, there are so many packets to choose from.

After which we slacked at some cafe called "Vivo". They are having a high tea special for weekdays only. Prices are from Rm3.90 to Rm 6.90 for a light snack and coffee/tea. Taxes are 10% service charge. Cheap right? Then we went to buy some food from KFC before heading home.

And the part on the KFC is that their menu are totally different. They are also slightly cheaper than Singapore. A meal cost around $4 to $5 unlike Singapore.

Lastly, it is to the Shell petrol station before heading home. Pumping full tank at a rate of Rm 2.05 per litre is around S$0.80 per litre. So cheap right? That is why so many Singapore Cars travel to Malaysia to pump petrol. As a result, a Singapore needs to have at least 3/4 tank full before going into Malaysia.

And i bought some chewing gum at the petrol station as well as Gardenia bread 600 grams jumbo pack. It cost Rm 2.90 each. And their bread is so much nicer than in Singapore. Seriously.

But then again, my dad driving is a bit reckless. Sudden braking then acceleration, unsure of roads, etc. I feel that my driving is mor estable than his. Perhaps next time i should drive instead.

Hee hee. So nice travelling there. It is my 1st time travelling out of this country for this year. Looking foward to going there again soon. My mum say it is possible to go there again. They can spare the time during weekdays to avoid the crowd. (Theya re the boss of the company so ya. Anytime also can)

Okay. Hope all have fun reading this. Thanks for reading. :)

Oh ya. Orange Pao is having its Grandslam this week while Cookie Ice Cream is having its jungle training this week. Guess i will be alone this week. I do not expect Orange Pao to ask me out. As for Cookie Ice Cream, i need not ask. I understand. The toughness of it, the lack of sleep, the environment, the lack of bathing, etc. No problem.

And yes. As usual, the date is not yet fixed. Oh well. Perhaps coming out soon. I have no idea. The website is having a maintenance from Saturday 12 am to Monday 6 Pm.

I will be checking again every now and then.

Yours Sincerely,
Doraemon
